Preparing for Your BBQ Party
Take advantage of the beautiful Tucson weather by inviting your friends and family over for a barbeque party. Use the following tips to get your home ready to grill, socialize, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors:
Check Your Grill
Whether or not you have used your grill recently, it is important to check it over to make sure it is ready to use before your party. Clean it off to prevent dirt or old food from interrupting your grilling plans. You should go over the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure that you know how to properly light and use it. Take proper safety precautions, and always keep the top open when lighting a propane grill.
Check Your Propane Tank
If you want to have enough fuel for your barbequing needs, you have to make sure that you have enough propane in your tank. It is best to keep a spare cylinder on hand. You can pour a cup of boiling water over the side of the tank and place your hand against the side. If the tank feels warm, it means there is no propane at that level. If it feels cool, however, you have found the propane level. If the tank is a little bit low, you should definitely plan on visiting Barnett’s Propane for a refill so you can power your grill long enough to feed all of your guests.
Set Up Your Food Stations
On the day of the barbeque party, you should set up various food stations that allow you to easily prepare food for everyone. Set up a meat station with hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and any other meat that you want to throw on the grill. Chop up some vegetables and keep them in a separate location. You should also stock up on a few veggie burgers that you can serve to your vegetarian guests.
